Plug and Play! Works right off the box. I use it mainly to retrieve footage from my dashcam. Now I don't have to go to my computer! A Must Have for dashcam owners (wireless dashcam download is SLOW) I used it in Samsung S9 to retrive the files I use the "My Files" app from Samsung.

This is a great sd card reader it works for my iphone 7 and is very small which makes it easy to haul around. I use it to check my trailcameras and transfer videos from my video camera to my phone.

This thing was just hanging loose in its ports when inserted and i do not want a brand new thing loose. Acceptable only after heavy use for long time.
